Sakhalin firs, Japanese maples and maples frame the entrance, while utmost care is given to the various trees and plants that thrive in the tailored gardens. Primeval forests encompass these beautiful gardens and offer a beautiful story that varies with each season.

Oak and various varieties of the Oleaceae family, which are durable and evoke a sense of adventure, typical of Hokkaido, and Sapporo soft stone are used to create a refined and clean design. Hot Springs
The mild spring water of Usubetsu Hot Springs has different qualities than its neighbor, Jozankei Hot Springs. It contains qualities of calcium, sodium and hydrogen carbonate. It is right up there with sulfate and sulfuric springs, placing it as one of the "three beauty baths." Soak in the uncirculated hot spring tubs, as you take in the spectacular view of the old-growth forests, from the comforts of your guest room.
