Born in Hakodate, Hokkaido in 1951, 38 years of cooking. Received two stars from the 2012 Michelin Hokkaido Special Edition, and the only restaurant in Southern Hokkaido to receive such recognition. Continues to promote tourism and the development of Southern Hokkaido, particularly his hometown Hakodate, through serving Japanese cuisine made with the finest of Hokkaido's ingredients.
