In business for 53 years, a long-established Japanese restaurant. We ourselves provide fresh ingredients from all over Hokkaido, focusing on those unique to Hokkaido. We are well-known as a place where gourmets gather. We have a reputation for using great ingredients to continually create new dishes.
Owner and Policy
The older brother is a Kyoto cuisine and soft-shelled turtle chef. The younger brother studied blowfish and longtooth grouper preparation, and started his own restaurant. The younger brother, Takashi, is the head chef and makes most of the dishes, while the older brother, Koji, handles the outside duties.
Course
Naniwatei's famous dishes include: fillet steak using Japanese Black Wagyu beef, rockfish stew. The course menu items, blowfish in winter, and courses using soft-shelled turtles, use Hokkaido ingredients in a way that will amaze you with their skill.
Alcohol and Cuisine
We offer various kinds of sake, mostly from Hokkaido. Many customers come just to enjoy the daily a la carte special.
